Patsy Jean Whitehead Tipton, age 74, of Maryville, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lela and Carlton Whitehead; and sisters, Carleen Speulda, Mary Jane Shoemaker, and Eleanor Alice Webb. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Fred Tipton; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Tony Sullivan; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Terri Tipton; grandchildren, Brandi Sullivan and fiancée, Travis Herndon, Heather and Ryan Harring, Cassi and Mike Phillips, Hillary Tipton, and Holly and Chris Rowe; great-grandchildren, Britney Phillips, Evan Harring, and Adelynn Harring; sister, Judy Helton; brother, Wesley Whitehead; nephews, Lee Helton, Wesley Helton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM, Monday, July 2, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Kenneth Sullivan officiating.
